Environmental Affairs Committee is not a current standing committee

The GTLNC Environmental Affairs Committee strives

i. To promote, advocate for, and educate about sustainability in our community in order to combat climate change;
ii. To actively work to improve the Toluca Lake environment; and
iii. To partner with other community groups in reaching out to and encouraging the participation of stakeholders.

The GTLNC Outreach & Elections Committee is responsible for stakeholder engagement, marketing, and social media. The committee’s mission is to communicate goals, objectives and activities of GTLNC, encourage active participation of all stakeholders in GTLNC, work with local community groups to encourage stakeholder participation, and identify concerns and solicit comments of stakeholders.  The committee ensures election integrity, finds candidates throughout the community, and provides resources for potential candidates.  Closer to the election, Elections Committee organizes events and opportunities for candidates to connect with stakeholders.  Post-election, this committee provides resources to newly elected board members to assist their transition onto the Board.

The Outreach and Election Committee takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:30PM.

The GTLNC Planning & Land Use Committee is responsible for overseeing all new development projects in/around the Toluca Lake area, review proposed zoning ordinances and measures that may potentially impact the quality of life in the area.  The committee serves as the steward of the community and convenes the local voices to ensure all appropriate department are informed of the interests of Toluca Lake.

The Planning and Land Use Committee meeting takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:00PM to 7:30PM.
