The GTLNC Executives Committee is responsible for the administrative and organizational aspects of the GTLNC, and is the representative body that interfaces with Regional, City, State and Federal departments, politicians and representatives.

The GTLNC Environmental Affairs Committee is responsible for fostering the experience of community and enhance the quality of life in the Greater Toluca Lake area, by working on projects that will benefit the community. EAC strives to build on our relationships and continue our partnerships with local businesses and stakeholders.

i. To promote, advocate for, and educate about sustainability in our community in order to
combat climate change;
ii. To actively work to improve the Toluca Lake environment; and
iii. To partner with other community groups in reaching out to and encouraging the
participation of stakeholders.

The GTLNC Government Affairs Committee is responsible for working with agencies and representatives at all levels of government to articulate and communicate community concerns. The public may bring issues to the GTLNC at which point the issue would be designated to this Committee and proper steps would be taken to work with the public and government toward resolution.

The committee reviews public policy and government related issues including City, County and State legislative matters, and makes recommendations to the GTLNC Board for consideration and action, including Community Impact Statements.

The GTLNC Outreach Committee is responsible for stakeholder engagement, marketing, & social media. The committee’s mission is to: communicate the goals, objectives and activities of the GTLNC, encourage the active participation of all stakeholders in the GTLNC, partner with local community groups in reaching out to and encouraging the participation of stakeholders, and identifying the concerns and solicit the comments of stakeholders

The GLTNC Elections Committee focuses on ensuring election integrity, finding candidates throughout the community, and providing resources for potential candidates.  Closer to the election, Elections Committee organizes events and opportunities for candidates to connect with stakeholders so that they may understand the needs of the community.  Post-election, this committee provides resources to newly elected board members to assist their transition onto the Board.

Elections Committee Agenda – 9/3/2019

The GTLNC Planning & Land Use Committee is responsible for overseeing all new development projects in/around the Toluca Lake area, review proposed zoning ordinances and measures that may potentially impact the quality of life in the area.  The committee serves as the steward of the community and convenes the local voices to ensure all appropriate department are informed of the interests of Toluca Lake.

The GTLNC Public Safety Committee is responsible for providing programs and projects that enhance the safety and well-being of Stakeholders in the Greater Toluca area.  The Committee launched the Toluca Lake Neighborhood Watch system, deemed “one of the most successful Neighborhood Watch systems in Los Angeles” by the LAPD, with over 100 watch captains.
